*Mosasaurs are the largest dinosaur to ever adapt its legs into flippers. As their bodies adapted for swimming they spent their entire life in the sea as air breathers (much like whales). They attained lengths of almost 60 feet and a skull of 6 feet long. With the jaws that unhinged (like a snake) they were able to swallow huge prey whole. They were major predators equivalent to the Tyrannosaurs Rex in the Cretaceous period (66-96 million years ago).
