Four, oil on board portraits by Dan C. Dickerson (b. 1905-d. 1999, Cobb, County, Georgia).

These portraits belong to a dear friend of mine (age 95) who bought them from the sister of the artist at a garage sale in 2001. The first is a self portrait at age 20 on an artist\'s palette. It has a second portrait of a young, blond man on the other side (a friend?). The next one is a framed oil on board, self portrait at age 59 & the last a framed oil on board at age 62.. The last one has a short autobiography by the artist himself at age 62 & a note by my friend describing the conversation he had with the artist\'s sister. Reading them will bring tears to your eyes. As much as I love them, I too at at an age where it is time to pass things on for others to appreciate.

The palette measures about 12\" x 8 1/2\", the middle one measures 8 1/2\" x 6 1/4\" & the last one 10\" x 6 1/2\".

They are in excellent condition.

All self portraits are artist signed & dated.
