Three granulated filigree zarf cup holders had that appear to have been originally gilt but most of that has been worn off over the years. There is one somewhat similar to this in the British Museum and they have attributed the production to, perhaps, Syria; late 19th century.
Please review photos as they are considered part of the description. Each zarf weighs in excess of 36 grams, (approximately 110 grams total), and stand about 2\" tall to the top of the scallops. There are no marks on the holders and they have not been tested for metal purity because I don\'t want to damage them. A couple of pieces of the granulation are missing from each cup but otherwise they are in good condition for their age. No porcelain inserts. Need polishing.
