DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for a \"lovely\" larger size antique German child -size doll. Incised on the back of her bisque head is \"Made in Germany, Armand Marseille, 390 n, DRGM 246, A 13 M\". Reference attributes to 1912 Germany, by Armand Marseille doll maker. DRGM is a registered claim or trade mark, \"390 n\" is known as the \"Dolly Face\" mold. This doll measures just under 30\" tall being a bisque socket head on wooden composition jointed body. Strung fine, she displays well sitting or standing with a doll stand. Doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs and knees with all fingers intact. I do not know her past history, her finger nails were \"re-painted\" to match her outfit, see photos. Body shows overall wear throughout, shows re-paint, scuffs for being 100 or so years old. You may wish to do a little \"paint restoration\" to your liking. She has a \"sweet\" dolly face with Open and close blue glass sleepy eyes that work fine, painted black lashes around her eyes, brush stroked brown brows, she has open mouth with upper teeth. I notice a tiny paint chip in the bisque below the left eye, see close up photo. There is a little dimple in her chin and lovely rose color blush on her face. I flashed her head and do not see any cracks or hairlines, there is plaster cement that was used to secure the eyes on rocker as most doll people do, head is a bit dirty inside. Doll wears a dark blonde vintage saran wig that slips over a pate on her head. She wears a vintage two piece suit, a dark fusha color. Overall wear throughout her clothing but charming. She wears panties that have a \"VS\" initial on them. She wears stockings and shoes. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description.
