32 WWI Stereo Viewer Cards & Vintage Stereoview Stereoscope German Tanks Snipers:
$47.84
This listing is for a vintage or antique Stereo Viewer with over 30 stereo cards. ALL cards are World War I related; the war to end all war more often listed
as the war to end all wars. The stereo viewer has been on open display for over 15 years (belongs to my father) but he's owned it for much longer. The stereo viewer has a name
David Drew lightly penciled or scratched into the holder (not my father's name) The horizontal slider sometimes covers the name as you move it to adjust
the view. Manufacturer is unknown; country of origin is not listed or marked. The viewer has age/handling/storage wear. Some white flecks (paint ?) seen.
I have not attempted to clean the viewer. Glass inserts still exist with no problems no cloudiness seen. This listing includes over 30 stereo cards. These are not in mint condition. All have age/handling/storage wear. The edges of the cards are not crisp; there is surface aging.
Some have bends or creases. 1 card has more significant problems which I note below. All of these cards are fascinating and unique. ALL OF THEM
are World War One related. As a whole, this is a nice collection of a now "antique" (over 100 years old) subject matter, the anniversary of WWI
(although the US didn't enter until 1917).The cards are listed as:
- Dead German with Field Gun
- American Tank leading the Advance
- American 75cm Gun in Action
