The GlowWebs are made from a special nylon rope that has fluorescing agents molded into the nylon fibers so that itglows under an ultra violet light, often called a UV light or a black light. The glow is the same as when freshly laundered white socks are put under a black light. Note that ultra violet incandescent bulb type lights just don\'t work. For the 33 ft web I recommend using two of the 6w UV LED outdoor black light in the second picture of this listing.
