This castle and the majority of itsinhabitants were made by Schleich, the most prestigious manufacturer ofdetailed, durable, flexible toy figurines and accessories.
Headquarteredin Germany, Europe is the traditional market for Schleich products, yet theyhave now become very popular in the U.S.A., Canada, the U.K. and Australia.
Muchmore so than their competition, Schleich emphasizes limited production runsas is the case with the figure featured in this lot. In fact, most if not allof these Schleichs are retired from factory production, and is getting harderto find in good pre-owned condition.

ThisRitterburg Castle includes all of its original parts—often not the case with Schleich 40191s available on —includingtwo towers and their four interior floors, 4 wall parts, 2 connectingmini-towers and a drawbridge unit complete with chains and stone-simulatedwalk-up.
Also,this castle and its retinue are in good to very good pre-owned condition, yetthey might show incidental wear from loving play as well as time itself, suchas discolorations, scuffs, minor marks, etc.
Andsome may not be complete. For instance, I think one king is missing his scepter/ staff.
