DESCRIPTION:

This listing is for a \"beautiful\" larger size German china shoulder head doll. Reference shows similar dolls made in the 1860s + by German makers Kistner, Hertwig, Hertel & Schwab, Kestner, ABG and others. There is a card with this doll that says \"Modified flat top hairstyle, white center part, sausage curls around her head, Head Circ. 16\", Head Height 9\", Overall height 36\", 6 sew holes, Ca. 1854-on, Excellent quality facial details, Period dressed\". This is an antique china shoulder head with porcelain arms, fingers intact, china porcelain legs with molded painted black books and painted blue ribbons. Her cloth body is a \"nice fit\" vintage replacement cloth body. The card does not say anything about her body but I believe a nice vintage replacement, not antique like the shoulder head. There are three holes on the front of the shoulder head and three on the back where it is sewn to the body. She measures a little over 36\" tall, dressed in a lovely period style dress with slip and pantaloons. Clothing like this doll is in \"excellent\" condition, I do not see any damage. Her body is clean. Her \"beautiful\" face with great molding and detail, she has painted blue shaded eyes, there is black liner over the eye lids with coral liner over the black liner, she has long black brows and closed mouth. Pink luster blush on her cheeks. Painted molded black wavy hair with unpainted center part, sausage curls around the back. No paint touch up on the face or hair, no face rubs, no cracks or damage. This is a \"impressive\" larger size china head doll for collection or display! I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description.
