Offered in this sale is an assembled group lot of thirty six various forms of vintage to antique porcelain, brass, copper, cloisonne enamel wood and silver boxes that I am selling for one price. The boxes range in size from 1 1/2\" round to 5 1/2\" long. Several of the boxes are antique dating to the 19th and perhaps even 18th century (see 2nd image). The majority of the boxes I would date to the mid 1900s and a few are more contemporary. This is a really wide and varied lot with something for everyone. There is a nice early hard stone Chinese cloisonne enamel match strike box and an American arts and crafts period copper match safe by Silvercrest. There are a few round wooden boxes from Italy as well as a few Limoges French porcelain. There are also some art deco period compacts and card cases. All of the pieces you see illustrated in images one though nine are included in this sale.
