Fantastic capacity of nearly a pint....huge!

A wonderful piece like this is far from being,just another collectable piece of silver,but afantastic investment for the future.

Its of a very heavy gauge of silver with full,crisp and clear hallmarks for 1838.

This can only be described as \"STUNNING\" with its wonderful

and heavily embossed thistle decorationwith large flared rim and stemand a gentle gilt wash to its inner bowl.

It has a very heavy weight of 386.6 grams.

Its condition is also wonderful,having only polishing marks to report.

They are only mentioned for accuracy and are nothing more than

you would reasonably expect to see on a piece of this age and type.

After all this glorious piece is 179 years old.

There is also a very lightly inscribed stylised initial \"D\" within the cartouche,but with the silver being as thick as it is,it could be polished out by a competent jeweller very easily.

All in all,a beautiful piece and very well priced.
