4 Adorable Vintage Chenille Large Easter Chicks Peeps Duck Hats Wire Feet For Sale
Up for sale are these four wonderful vintage CHENILLE CHICKS (ONE GOOSE OR DUCK). They are all decked out for the Easter Parade in their finest hats. I think the one in the mortarboard wins. They all are just about 3" high. I don't believe all the wing feathers are still on them. The green chick has none. Whether it ever had any, I do not know. The red chick has one white feather. The duck still has both and the yellow, just one. The one in the mortarboard also still has a band on its leg, that reads "MURPHYS 10cents). The legs are wrapped. As a child, I remember waking up Easter morning and on the center of the table would be a mirror surrounded with the Easter grass. There would always be a tree branch adorned with similar chicks overlooking the "pond". It was so simple, but so memorable. Please, email me with any questions. Thank you for looking.
