Each are hand made and around 8 inches long. I believe these to be used deck plank spikes not new cargo that went down with the boats when retreating Confederates burned them after Battle of Champion Hill and Big Black. Recovered by relic hunting dredge crew in the early 1970s. They have not been soaked or treated just high and dry for the last 45 years. I\'ve imaged the heads and points so you can see how they were made.
