Up for sale are 4 vintage leather post cards. Measurements for each are 5\" by 3\". Each post card has its own design. These designs include birds and roses, a saying describing \"friends\", an owl, and a man holding onto a post. The \"friends\" post card has a copyright date of 1907. The copyright date on the post card of the \"man holding the post\" is 1906. The other two cards do not have copyright dates. Overall, the post cards are in good condition. On each, the leather is soft and pliable. With the exception of the \"owl\", the coloring and designs, while bright, do show light wear. The \"owl\" design is faded. While all four cards are stitched together, only the stitching between three of the cards remains tight. For 1 1/2\" down the stitching between the \"birds and roses\" card and the \"friends saying\", the thread has become unraveled. On each card, all of the stitching around the other edges is missing. Across one of the edges, there is a 1/4\" area where the leather is worn. This \"worn area\" runs straight across all of the cards. The back sides feature a writing area which is \"undivided\". The print on the back side of each card is worn. Only one of the post cards is addressed and post marked. In the upper right hand corner of this card, a dark \"smudge\" is noted.
