  • Light Base contains an array of 10 bright RGB LEDs. The brightness ranges from medium to bright. It has thirteen colors: red, green, blue, orange, amber, spring green, light turquoise, deep turquoise, sky blue, purple, magenta, pink, and cool white. Each of the colors has 5 brightness settings, while the color changing modes are at constant brightness.
  • Light base is submersible to 1 meter / 3.3 ft. The Light Base uses 3 AAA batteries with 1.5V rating, and remote uses 2 AG10 button cell batteries. Battery life of the Light Base (3 Alkaline AAA batteries) is approximately 10 - 20 hours of continuous use. Light Base dimensions are: 2.8 inches diameter, 0.9 inch height, 3.5 oz weight (non buoyant)
  • Each Light Base includes an IR remote which works in clear line of sight with a range of about 16 ft / 5 m. If you have multiple Light Bases with multiple remotes, any remote will control any and all Light Bases that are within clear line of sight and within range. Light Base can only be controlled with an included IR remote not use near open flame, in water over 170 F / 77 C in temperature, or in carbonated beverages.
  • Avoid submerging in acid or alkaline liquids.
  • Do not expose remote to moisture or liquid.
  • If bubbles escape from the light base when submerged, it is leaking. Remove the Light Base immediately and open it up to let it dry out.
  • Do not touch the gasket with any tools or fingernails. Do not use grease or other substances on the gasket, as they may contaminate the water and cause the Light Base to using the Light Base for the first time, pull out the flat, clear plastic battery shield that sticks out the back of the remote. Open the light base by twisting the the two halves in the direction indicated on the bottom, remove and unrwap the battery bundle, and install the batteries with the correct polarity.
  • When Light Base batteries run low, not all colors may work, and Light Base may not respond to all buttons on the remote control.
  • When re-closing the Light Base, it is recommended to tighten the threads to 3 or 4 bumps after the plastic edge makes contact with the rubber gasket. Over tightening may make it too difficult to open next time, or may damage the gasket or the threads.
  • It is recommended to tighten the Light Base to the same tightness each time, so that the gasket is compressed to the same pressure each time and will provide a good seal as the rubber gasket ages with exposure to air and water.
  • Be careful not to cross-thread the Light Base when closing it or it will leak. It should feel smooth and solid when threaded properly. If it feels sticky when twisting closed, it is probably cross-threaded.
