This listing is for an incredible set of Wilton Armetale RWP Pewter Alloy Charles Dickens Plates made in the USA. These sturdy plates have a ceramic insert with a picture from Charles Dickens\' famous book, \"David Copperfield.\"

The pewter alloy plate is embossed with ivy leaves and engraved with the name Charles Dickens. The ceramic insert has the signature Kyd which is a pseudonym for artist Joseph Clayton Clarke.

The plates measure 11 inches in diameter, the porcelain insert 6 inches in diameter. It is impressed on the back with \"RWP\" contained within a circle and \"Wilton-Columbia PA, Made in USA\" and a few other impressed symbols which are hard to make out.Please check out our other sales.
