How your art is made:each piece is hand cut, using my original designs
hand stitched together, using a blanket stitch withvintage heavy linen thread

gently stuffed with new fiber fill, for some puff
thisgrungy tag is handstamped and hand colored, with a tiny wooden clothespin
all additions are attached with thread... no glue is usedeach cheery bird wears ofcutetiny bell with a pretty wrinkled rayon ribbon around his neck

Ican add hangers to the top of eachbird, if you request such

Thesebirds are not grungy, just nice fresh clean materials.
I often up-cycle some of the materials... I love the older fabrics.
But the up-cycled fabrics have all been washed and dried, so some are felted in the process.

We are a none smoking home, but we are cat friendly.
I keep the fur friends from my work area... they have to go to their room when Ihave studio time...
I use a lint roller to remove the extra fiber fill, before shipping.

While the same basic designs may be used multiple times, each one is individually finished.
