FOR PURPOSES: This item was made in Hawaii, and is at least 80% Niihau shell. The actual percentage of Niihau shell in this item is 100%.
Extremely rare and valuable, unique and hard to find, 1-strand Niihau shell lei, made from perfectly graduated Keokeo style shells, pure white, 40\"length. Traditionally used in men\'s wedding ceremony, however can be worn by both men and women and for any occasion. This style of Niihau lei was seldom made, and is a true collector\'s item. This lei has only been worn twice. Stored in silk pouch away from light for last 25+ years.This necklace was strung by the Keli Family in 1984.

Shipping & Handling: I deal within the United States only! No International Orders or Shipping. I use USPS (United State Postal Service) for the majority of my orders. Unless specified, your order will be sent via USPS Flat-Rate, envelope or box (which to me is the most reasonable) and in most cases, gets the item to you within 3-4 business days.
I MAKE NO MONEY OFF SHIPPING! Please understand that if I offer “free shipping” on an item, those charges come out of my own pocket. –OR- If you (the customer) pays shipping charges, you will only be charged whatever the current rate on what USPS packages are. Please understand that some of my items can be heavy and/or awkward. The current USPS Flat-Rates and the most common I use for shipping are as follows:
$5.90 –Small Flat Rate Box.
$6.10 –Large Flat Rate Padded Envelope.
$12.90 –Medium Flat Rate Box.
$17.90 –Large Flat Rate Box.
“BROWN BOX” Items: -Some of the items I list are in fact, awkward and heavy, and will not fit in a USPS flat-rate box. For those listings, I get most accurate dimensions as possible, select the appropriate box, and use the shipping calculator to get the best shipping price for you. For example, a 30lb item may cost “$88.50” to go Alaska from Nevada, vs. only “$44.50” to Arizona, from Nevada. I do not use UPS or FedEX because of their outrageous shipping charges that can average $20-$50 more than “brown boxing” via USPS. –ALSO- If you’re are in fact a customer in a State that borders Nevada, (Arizona, California, Idaho, Oregon & Utah) your order may in fact be sent via “brown box” depending on the item or its weight. Unless I have “free shipping” on the item, I will try to get you the best rates as possible.
Combined Orders & Shipping: Since I do not manage an storefront, my listings are currently not available for “combined discounts”. ~HOWEVER~ PLEASE CONTACT ME FIRST if you are planning on purchasing multiple items from me… I can work with you on shipping charges, and make “package deals” if you want more than one of my listed items. Handling Time-With Cleared Payment: Please note that I am on Pacific Standard Time… I have a 2 business day handling period with the majority of my listings. However, once payment is cleared, I usually ship within 24 hours-or the next business day. With the town of Pahrump Post Offices closed on Saturdays, orders placed after 9am Pacific Time on Fridays usually won’t go out until Monday morning. For example, if you place an order on Friday before 9am Pacific Time, I can have it packaged and ready in time for it to make the USPS Las Vegas Hub departure run. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday, or the next business day.
“Local Pick Up Only” (In Pahrump or Las Vegas): One a rare occasion, I will list an item that is either too big to ship, and/or shipping charges (either USPS, FedEx or USPS) would be unreasonable regardless. On these listings, there will be absolutely no shipping involved and the item for sale will be targeted at local Las Vegas and the town of Pahrump residents/buyers. It will be your (the buyers) responsibility to arrange pickup of the item after making your purchase through . (Buyers are welcome to come out and view the item first). ANY LONG DISTANCE OR OUT-OF-STATE REQUESTS TO SHIP THE ITEM WILL BE EITHER IGNORED AND/OR DENIED!!!
