This high quality Shofar is hand crafted in Israel by the factory of "Kol Shofar" (Shofar's sound).

It has gone through a strict supervision process by the manufacturer Shimon Keinan, which is a senior shofar blower (Ba'al tokea).

Buyers may not receive this particular shofar but with a very similar size and color as the horn shown in the picture.

The story of Shimon and Kol Shofar:

Shimon is a Senior Shofar Blower (Ba'al toke) for over 45 years and is skilled with the secrets of Shofar production.

"Kol Shofar" is located in the north of Israel on a peaceful area near the Sea of Galilee.

It is unique factory producing Shofars of every kind and offer interesting lectures about Shofars in the visitor center.

"I was born with Shofar in my hands" he says on himself.

"When I was 10 years old I blown like Ba'al tokea, I used to return from the synagogue,

take a pipe and funnel and blow it because my parents couldn’t afford buy me Shofar"

"When I reached 18th I became Ba'al tokea and since then I blow in the synagogue during the prayers of the high holy days".

"All my life I'm a craft man and I feel that god prepared me during the years for producing Shofars.

There is patents and techniqs that I developed and unique to my factory.

My Shofars are better in three parameters: non scented, 100% kosher and easy to blow.

As Ba'al tokea I know the needs and therefore put effort when create and tune the mouthpiece".

The Shofar's blow will be heard…

The horns production is combined traditional with modern techniques and all under very strict supervision of quality and kashruth of the Shofars.

The horns arrive at the factory and immediately go through washing and disinfections process.
Than straightening the Shofar, processing the mouthpiece and drilling a long hole in the narrow part of the Shofar.

In this stage it is already possible to blow the Shofar and examine the sound quality. Here Shimon's experience as a shofar blower is very important.
The last stage is the polishing and brightening process until the wanted Shofar received.

When you hold his Shofars, you can immediately feel it's made with faith and love.
