BAROMETERFresh from an estate, we are pleased to offer this magnifiscent antique, barometer
Finely carved barometer by Joseph Davis & Co., London. Titled \"Royal Polytechnic Barometer\", it features a large bore mercury tube, thermometers in both farenheight and centigrade, and Admiral Fitzroy\'s special notes for rising and falling weather. The styling of the case is wonderful from the broken arch & finial to the column sides and front fretwork. 49\" long, 15\" at it\'s widest and 3 1/4\" at it\'s deepest.It is in overall very good condition. One knob is missing. There appears to be NO MERCURY in large tube the barometer. There are no cracks in the glass panels. Some screws in the back appear replaced. Please ask all questions before offerding. It is being sold in \"as is\", \"as found\" condition.
