One antique glass dry plate photographic negative c.1895. The image is one of a Victorian couple in Sunday clothes on horses. This is one of several glass plate negatives I purchased from an estate in Colorado Springs, CO. The family has been here four generations at least, and one family member was a photographer in the late 1800\'s. He apparently has some sort of \"concession\" in the mountains near Colorado Springs, as there were many tourist attractions at the time. The majority of the images are of people on donkeys, mules, and horses. The emulsion on this plate has damage at the lower part; the plate and emulsion are in otherwise fine condition.
There is a positive scan of the negative for your reference.
Only the glass plate negative is included with this listing.
