Up for offers today is an original piece LOT of comic book / SUNDAY COMIC STRIP art. This LOT is original as shown and was used in the making of the real COMIC ART FOR THE NEWSPAPER. Rick Hackney Sir Bagby Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group dated 12-10-63 through 12-14-63 (Bell McClure Syndicate, 1963). The Hackney brothers (Bill was the writer, Rick the artist) never fail to deliver a charming and witty strip. This group of five consecutive strips that originally ran from 12-10-63 through 12-14-63 is delightfully funny. They are ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 20\" x 6\". Slight tanning. They have been vertically folded between the panels at some point, but are flat now and it is hardly noticeable. Overall in Excellent condition. THIS LOT IS ONE OF A FEW DOZEN ORIGINAL PIECES THAT I HAVE ON NOW SO TAKE A LOOK! You will get the exact real item as shown in the pictures and in the title!
