This listing is for the 5 real photo postcards that you see in the photos. They were in a stack of postcards that I purchased at an estate sale. One similar postcard that was in the stack but is not included in this listing has a 1954 postmark. So, I think that these postcards are probably from 1954 if not earlier.
All five postcards are of Acre, Israel. The different locations noted on the front of the cards are: Sea Wall, Sea Front, Khan of Umdan with Clock Tower, From the Sea and General View. Among other markings, the reverse all five cards are marked, “Made in Israel copyright by” followed by circle with “Palphot” written in it. The widths are close to the same at about 3 7/8 inches. The lengths vary from about 5 3/8 to about 5 7/8 inches.
Please be aware that the lighting in the photos is uneven and that there are reflections.
The condition is much like you see it in the photos. There is a slight about inch long crescent shaped distortion in the paper in the sky of “From the Sea” that is not showing in the photos. When angled to a light, the round “Palphot” stamp on the reverse shows on the front of “Sea Wall” as a very faint whitish circle. The back of “From the Sea” is a little darkened from what I imagine to be exposure to light. Some of the bottom corners are slightly or very slightly bumped. One I angle them to a light, I see a few extremely light scratches that I assume are from them rubbing against each other a little. “Ruth” is written on the back of “Sea Wall”. The paper on all of the cards is bowed so that they do not lie flat. Otherwise, they are generally fine and as shown. My photos should give you a good idea of their general condition.
