These five books have all been recently re-covered by hand in finely textured dark blue cloth by amaster bookbinder with hand tooled gold leaf text on the spine and new endpapers. These editions, which feature charming line sketches of scenes from thestory by illustrator Harry Furniss, are part of a set of 18 volumes of thecomplete works of the author in the Charles Dickens Library published bythe Educational Book Company around 1910.

These books are all in superb condition externally havingbeen rebound very recently. Internally the volumes are all in very goodcondition with signs of light wear from normal use you’d expect in books thatare over 100 years old, but have no foxing, stains or tears to pages and alltext and illustrations appear intact. Each volume measures approximately 19cm x13cm.
