56cm (c-t-t) Windsor Profession (55cm top tube) \'70\'s Columbus SL lugged construction. Professionally refinished with correct decals. No damage prior to restoration, unused since, good threads. Chromed head and seat lugs and rear drop-outs. (please see photos)
INCLUDES: Sakae aluminum fork, Tange Levin aluminum headset, binder bolt and drop-out adjusters, Campagnolo 1010 drop-outs. Requires an Italian-threaded bottom bracket, nutted brake attachments and clamp-on cable guides. 126mm rear hub spacing. Former owner mentioned its a great rider.
About Windsor - This line included many models but is best known for their Cinelli-look Professional and Competition produced in Mexico City during the \'70s and early \'80s. Columbus tubing was used and the workmanship was good. As reported in the Oct. 1975 Bicycling Magazine, Italian builder Remo Vecchi was a frame craftsman who worked for Cinelli in Italy before going to Mexico to build these bikes. This is likely why the Windsor Pros are close copies of the Cinelli Super Corsa (SC). Today the Windsor brand name is licensed to an Asian maker.
