Not sure of exact age. In my opinion they have a golden type color finish to them . On the non-textured parts of the coasters they have a mirror type of look to them in my opinion. I am not positive but they appear to be made out of some sort of vinyl, my belief is that they may be a representation of seashells. Wish I had more information of the exact nature of this item I can only go by my opinion in the title and in my description of how I view this listing. Respect fully your opinion may be different. In my opinion they have that art deco art nouveau type of appeal to them. If you do not wish to use them as coasters there are so many creative people out there upcycling items using their own visions, perhaps you may have an artistic vision for these coasters other than their original use.
