Cerebus the Aardvark is the longest running independently published comic book in history. From 1977 to 2004, Dave Sim and Gerhard (who began working on the book in 1984) produced 300 issues (some 6,000 pages) about a misanthropic, three foot tall talking Aardvark. A \"funny\" animal in a world of humans, Cerebus quickly evolved from its early days as a Conan parody into a far reaching exploration of religion, relationships and politics. The result was a dense world filled with one of the most entertaining menageries in comic history. Dave Sim and Gerhard revolutionized not only the comic book format, but were also responsible for what would become the modern trade paperback comic collection -- large collections of issues dubbed \"phone books\" by Cerebus fans.

Yes I know that \'Awesome\', \'Nice\' and \'Excellent\' aren\'t official CGC / Comic Grading Terms. I have used them on purpose because I don\'t want to have email debates about the exact definition of NM vs NM+ or 9.4 vs 9.6. Grading is subjective.

COMIC PACKAGING:All comics are Bagged & Boarded, then wrapped it packing paper and finally sandwiched between too pieces of cardboard. I use enough tape to keep the comics safe, but not so much tape that you have to cut the comics from a tape entombment! In other words,I wrap and ship the comics the way I would like my comics to be wrapped and shipped. I cannot control the Post Office, but unless the package is run over or dropped from the Empire State Building, it will arrive in the same condition you bought it in.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE:If unsatisfied you will receive a full refund of the purchase price once the item is returned in the same condition as shipped.
