Super rare and very handy instrument. This was my uncle\'s personal tool, from the early 1970\'s and is in very good shape. There is no visible wear or markings anywhere, jaws are nice and sharp, like new, see pictures.
The tool is designed to be used as a height gage, inside/outside vernier caliper, and vernier depth gage. There is also a set of additional pin pointed add on jaws for very fine point to point inspection. Another nice feature is the end jaw of the caliper can be rotated, and has a 90 degree graduated scale on the jaw center diameter. The scribe part is removable, and easy to reset when you put it back on. The depth gauge works via a .10\" diameter pin that pushes out the opposite end from the height gage.
