They were born on Feb. 12th, 13th of this year. They started laying about 5 weeks ago. I had them mixed in a grow out pen with a couple other breeds until they started laying. I sold their first couple weeks eggs that were mixed (as mixed breeds) and I have gotten back good results. I had one guy to tell me that all of his eggs were developing when checked at 7 days. I separated them 4 weeks ago and gave them time to give me some pure eggs. I have mine in the incubator now and I\'m ready to sell the pure breeds finally! These have so far proven to be great layers. I have 9 hens and I have gotten at least 4 eggs everyday . Again, this is my first time raising this breed/color. The color varies in my birds. Some are more blueish gray looking while a few are very dark blue. Some in between, more dusty blue. Both of my roosters are a greyish blue. The hens are all an assortment on blues. I have 2 roosters in with my hens to enhance the chances of fertility. Fertility is nature however, nothing I can control. So I\'m selling hatching eggs with the possibility of a hatch. Not a guaranteed hatch. There is just no way I have any control over that. Just include that so that it\'s understood when puchasing. Also I rarely have any problems with shipping. I pack really well. But should you receive a damaged box I will need 2 things from you immediately upon receipt of package. 1 ) a picture of the box if smashed and 2) one picture, (just 1) of all broken eggs. Upon receipt of pictures I will immediately refund you a prorated amount for each broken egg(1/6 of the total cost paid originally paid. But again, I rarely have ever had trouble shipping eggs since the eggs are so small and I only ship in half dozens. I do usually provide at least one extra if I have them, but I won\'t hold an extra day just for extras. Only expect 6 eggs and be blessed if you receive more than that :). I ship as quick as possible from them being collected. Shipping time will vary. Depends on how well they are laying at any given time. I don\'t start collecting until after they are paid.
