The 82 model is the most luxurious pens of all two digits Montblanc pens of the 60\'s, and same as all pens launched by Montblanc at this era, this pen is based on the famous 22 model. This line also includes the model numbers 12, 14, 24, 32, 34 and their solid gold luxury versions like the 92 and 94 which were launched at the mid and end of the 60\'s to replace the older 3xx and 2xx series. These pens were completely new approach by Montblanc, both technologically with newmaterialsand complete mechanical redesign, but also a new bold technology and space era inspired modern design. When pen was introduced it was 2 times the price as the current 149 model and far more expensive then any 142, 144, 146 and all 3xx and 2xx modes. The pen wasdesignedby the famous car desinerAlbrecht Graf Goertz and its still timeless and stunning. He was know for saying:\"If I can touch somebody emotionally with a car, then I can do it with other products as well\".
