Very early, very scarce super, extra wide vintage necktie
I have compared this style label to those found sold as vintage on
It is a totally different look, and I believe it is earlier than most offered
I think it is most likely a 1960s example
This looks like the height of a Mod, Carnaby street style
Very groovy florals --red poppies? and paisleys print
Wild and colorful and very over the top hippie-Bohemian chic
The fabric is exquisite quality, super luxurious soft pillowy silk
Extra wide at 4.5\" a true statement cravat or neckwear piece
This also has an unusual and fabulous white liner with logo motif
Liberty of London is done on the black and white with a large L
The tags will offer some clues as to age for Liberty collectors & connoisseurs
The main label is also a black and white simple style with a large \"L\" silver dots
The small fabric tag says \"Printed in England by Liberty 100% Silk\"
The back side states BERKLEY CRAVATS INC
The icing on the cake is a fabulous period department store vintage label
MARSHALL FIELD & COMPANY written in script, very cool
There is a small, faint red \"X\" below Marshall, no idea why
This is a very rare and scarce example and it is in excellent vintage condition
It is clean, unblemished, and Time Capsule fresh
