Up for sale - a vintage 7 inch Hummel Goebel CELESTIAL MUSICIAN figurine playing a violin. Angel still has the Celestial Musician sticker attached. Figurine is incised on the bottom with the #188 and the date 1948. The ink marks at the left - CC by W. Goebel and the right Western Germany with the bee in the V. There is what looks like a 2 in the center of the bottom.The Hummel book I have indicates the 1948 was the year that this style figurine was first made. I found no cracks, chips or crazing. A nice vintage example of Hummel.
