Being offered is a Superb Antique Set of (8) 1846 Sevres France Chateau St. Cloud 8 3/4\" Cabinet Plates. The border which has heavy gold trim is nicely decorated with vibrant pink, light blue & green scrolled arabesques that feature cherubs, deer, wild boar, ram, birds, fish, a fruit basket & urn. A gold band & swags are found on the outer verge and a gold medallion in the center which is adorned with a cornucopia scroll held by three cherubs. All of the plates are in EXCELLENT CONDITION with no chips, cracks or crazing showing absolutely no signs of wear or usage delivering a bright & glossy finish, there is no loss of gold.
