Up for sale are 9 vintage 50’s & 60’s metal numbered safety pins that were used at public swimming pools and gyms as a checkout system to identify the numbered metal basket that was checked out to keep your clothes in while at the facility. The numbered pin was usually pinned on your gym clothes or swim suit. The pins are 2” long. They do show wear. The numbers on the pins are 130 - 238 - 114 - 72 - 65 - 54 - 228 - 01 - 176.
