DESCRIPTION:

UP FOR ADOPTION here is a \"delightful\" vintage composition baby boy doll.I do not know his past history, or maker,but will describe the best I can. Doll is unmarked as many were, reference shows similar made by Amberg & Son, Averill, Effanbee and others in the 1930s to 1940s.He is all composition, strung fine, jointed at the shoulders and legs with all fingers and toes intact.Some composition crazing lines throughout and paint wear. There is a \"staple\" in the lower back that was used to hold his undies on, I believe original to this doll so I did not remove it. Great little character face with oil painted blue eyes, single stroke brows, painted molded brown hair. He has a little \"tulip\" mouth. Wears vintage knit dress, undies and \"Duckie\" bib. This little babydoll will surely put a \"smile\" on your face! I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description.
