Date: c1790 possibly a little earlier . Made possibly in Scotland or London.

Conditon: good with no chips to the shell. Light cracking in the shell but still strong and won\'t fall apart. Good tight fitting lid. Nice weight. Traces of an inscription to the top THO.... . The hinge has had a repair but still works well.

Measuring: 6.5cm long, 5cm wide and 3cm tall
