The front of this round locket has an inverted \'fluis de lis\' type design, This is set with seven seed pearls with a synthetic sapphire facet cut gem set to top centre position. This gem is claw set with diameter of 2.5 mm. There\'s a pretty scroll top to the locket with a gold top holding ring of 4 mm. The reverse is plain surfaced apart for the gold marks \'9ct BKS & FRTS\'.
This locket is that lovely mellow rose gold colour typical of jewellery items from the years bordering the turning of the last century. We have carefully ‘check tested’ the piece and confirm it is \'9ct Gold Back & Front\' category.
(9ct Back & Front is a locket category where the front and back panels are of solid 9ct gold, and check tested here, the internal frame and rim are not gold. This method of construction was used primarily to achieve greater strength and durability of the locket).
