A rare treat for Peanuts fans...
This is a first edition hardcover of \"A Charlie Brown Christmas: The Making of a Tradition,\" signed and inscribed by Peanuts animation artist Bill Melendez.
Below the inscription, Melendez has hand-drawn beautiful caricatures of himself and Snoopy, who is apparently jumping for joy.
As this is a large-size book (9.5\" x 9.5\"), the drawings are big and bold, and really pop on the vibrant red background.
The book is 192 pages, in very good condition. It comes with the original dust jacket, also in very good condition, with some age-spotting on the reverse (inward) side.
A unique memento of one of the most beloved television specials in American history, and the artist who helped create it.
