This antique Chinese box I think dates to the 19th century , the box is made of mother of pearl panels that have engraved designs on the sides of flowers and leaves with metal fittings on the corners as seen in the photos, there would have been a sliding lid on the top of the box that is missing but despite this still a great box for paper clips etc , the box measures 3 x 2 inches and in good condition just a small chip to the mother of pearl in one corner
