A Dutch, leaded bronze mortar, dated 1692 with decoration around thebody and the legend 1692 AMOR VINCIT OMNIAin a band around the top and translates as (\"Love Conquers All\"). The decoration around the base comprises of birds and flora. It is 98mm high, has a rim diameter of 112mm, weighs 2.59kgand has a reduction on the base for fitting into a stock; it is in very good condition.
