This delightful Antique Art Deco Petit Point Bag dates to around 1920 or thereabouts.I believe that its origins may well be Austrian, although I cannot be certain.The Bag is most suited to Evening or Cocktail functions.It has a different design to each side as can be seen in the photos.The Bag measures approximately 5.5x6.75 inches, not including the clasp, frame or chain handle.It does have some imperfections, and so I am listing it to be re-used or to use for framing or for other projects.I have photographed the Bag fully in order that interested Buyers can see the extent of the damage, which includes wear to the petit point and staining to boththe inside and outside.The clasp is not working properly.However, despite these imperfections, the Bag is still very beautiful, and with the correct knowledge of cleaning and repairing it can, I am sure, be bought back to life.The Bag weighs approximately 119 grams, and it will make a wonderful addition to any similar collection.
