A pair of beautiful 19th century circa 1850-60 oval gilt gesso and wood picture frames. Each are signed in pencil J. MM! They are gilt decorated with shell and leaf corners and a beautiful gilt banding on the inner edge. Each measures 19\" by 17\" with a square opening in the back for a 12 by 10\" and an oval opening of 9 1/4\" by 11 1/4\", and 2 1/2\" deep. Great for porcelain KPM plaques. Estate pieces.
