A FINE QUALITY 19TH CENTURY 16 PIECE \'STANLEY\"DRAWINGSET-IN MAHOGANY CASE

Offered for sale is this fine quality 16 piece drawing set, in a solid mahoganywooden case having the original valour linings, a lift out tray and lock which is in working order with a key and brass escutcheon and blank cartouche. The box contains a bovine bone scale ruler, a ebonyparallel ruler and brass protractor, see photos.

The instruments are of good quality with various compasses,attachments,and ink pens etc, which Ithink? is complete and all original with no \"married\" items; but any interested buyers mustsatisfythemselves this is the case so please ask any questions.

Conditioncommensuratewith age and use, but having no major damage; there is some surface rust and discolourationtothe metal parts of the instruments (see photos) which needs cleaning; The woodcaseis in good condition, just having a few minor surface knocks and marks due to age/use (see photos). Please see photographs for overallcondition.

The case measures195mm long x 160mm wide x 50mm thick.
