International Order Of Odd Fellows Original Art. Beautiful Early Rendition of the IOOF All Seeing Eye - Reverse Painting On Glass With A Metallic Red Foil Art Background in a Period Gold Gilt Frame.
In Addition To The Red Foil Background, The Three Large Gold Rings, The Two Sets of Six Gold Stars and The I.O.O.F. Have A Metallic Look To Them. The Eye, The Black Background, The Collar and The Fringe are all Reverse Painting On Glass.
You can see that this is all hand done - Done quite well but it doesn\'t quite have that professional look to it. This leads me to believe that it may be one of a kind or to put it another way - I\'ve never ever seen another one like it.

I would say this original artwork dates to the 1920\'s or earlier.
Near Excellent Condition - some wear on the outside edges of the frame. On the left outside edge of the frame are two sets of three triangle pattern shaped holes that suggest something may have been attached to that side at one time. Original wood backing looks like it was never touched or re-nailed. Obviously this is also the original glass.
Penciled on the wood backing is: From - Charles Dorline who worked for Dick Carter.
Wood frame measures 18 1/4\" square. Inner glass measures 13 3/8\" square.
