A stunning Arts and Crafts design that is often accredited to Archibald Knox. The pewter features a scrolling Art Nouveau foliate form to each side that resembles a wave rolling in from the sea, while the holder is further embellished by the application of a wonderful foil backed blue green \"Peacock\" enamel. It measure 13 cm tall and bears the stamp \"English Pewter\" along with a Solkets mark and the model no 0358.
Presented to the market in excellent polished condition with strong definition to the design, the hand blown glass liner is free from any damage as is the foil backed enamel. A chance to purchase a perfect piece from one of the most sought after and collectiblenames from the Arts and Crafts era.
