A FIVE PIECE DOMINICK & HAFF SILVER AND SILVER GILT TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, New York, New York, circa 1886 Marks: (rectangle-circle-diamond), 925, 1886, STERLING, 354 8-1/4 inches high (21.0 cm) (coffee pot) 71.54 troy ounces The service comprising a coffee pot, teapot, waste bowl with gilt interior, covered sugar and a creamer, each with chased repoussé C-scroll and floral decoration on a stippled ground to body, C-scroll handle and lid surmounted by a floriform finial, monogrammed HL to the undersides.

Rubbing to the gilt interior of the waste bowl, pin dents and light nicking to the foot of the creamer, otherwise with surface wear commensurate with age.
