height=\"28px\" valign=\"middle\" face=\"arial\" style=\"text-decoration:none\" sale today we have this Outstanding Royal Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Art Nouveau Vase by Eliza Simmance. The vase is of tall (15\") broad baluster form and is very dramatically decorated with 3 panels, each consisting of 5 large tubelined flower heads set upon tallsinuous \"whiplash\" stems with highly stylised foliage. The vase features very dramatic use of colours, with blues, blacks, greens and purples. A very impressive display size at 15 \" tall by 6 1/2 \" dia. Bears the Royal Doulton Lambeth Lion stamp, Date shield \"J\" (1909), incised intertwining ES 866- no assistants.
In excellent display condition, the vase does carry a small, good quality flat chip restoration to it\'s inner rim. Whilst to the body there is a manufacturers firing line visible to the interior, only evidenced by a slight pooling of blue to the outer (please see pics). A very impressive piece from the \"Queen\"of Doulton\'s Art Nouveau period artists!
