Description: Up for sale is a large Chinese cloisonne enamel \' Wan Shi Ru Yi\'(may things go as you wish) box and cover in the shape of quartrefoil,set in the center a jade plaque of \'Shou Lao\' symbolizing longevity and happiness.Both the box and cover heavily hand-madeand entirely decorated inside and out with 68 Batsall reserved on a turquoise ground with scrolling flowers and ruyi clouds.The box raised on a gilt key-fret border filled with blue enamels.Box and Cover measures about 13.2 inches across and 3 3/4 inches high.The base/foot about 12 inches across.Jade Plaque: near 2 3/4 inches across.Weight about 10.5 lbs.
