A MING-STYLE CHINESE BLUE & WHITE FRUIT SPRAY MEIPING VASE - YONGZHENG MARK:

We are pleased to offer a fine Blue & White Meiping Vase. The vase is well potted with tapering sides elegantly painted with spray of six auspicious fruits, including peaches, persimmons, cherries, grapes, pomegranates, and citrons. The sprays around the body are bordered by lappets formed of interlocking bands of ruyi and foliate scroll-work. The vase is marked with an underglaze blue Yongzheng mark but is believe to be from the Republic Period.
A similar vase sold at Christie\'s in 2009, and was not as nicely potted. Please see the following link for that vase. Similarvase sold at Christie\'s.
Condition: The vase has been looked over very well both inside and outside. The vase is in great condition with some minor scratches to the glaze.
