Item: - A Novelty Sampson MordanSterling Silver Chick Ladle.

Description: - This is aquality novelty sterling silverchick cream ladleby the illustrious, and very collectable silversmiths Sampson and Mordan Co. The ladle is modelled as a chick emerging from an egg, with an Albany pattern handle. The base of theladlehas the makers mark S.M & Co.(Sampson & Mordan), Sterling Silver Mark, Chester assay mark, and date letter \'f\' to signify 1906.

Condition: - The ladle is in good antique condition. Minor surface scratches commensurate with age. A slight ding / flat spot to the shoulder of the chick that should be able to be corrected by a silversmith if desired. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
