A Pair Of Old Chinese Walnut Carved Statue. This pair of walnuts is a fine example of famous Chinese miro-carving craftmanship. On the surface of each walnut it was carved with numerous fairy boys, which means to have many offspring. Chinese people always say duo zi duo fu, which means \"The more offsprings you have, the more blessings you have.\" Thus to have many offsprings is regarded as a prosperous and auspicious thing for Chinese people. The superb craftmanship shows the Chinese world well-known artistic skills to a high level. Nice old polish. The material is very smooth with fine carving on every detail. It will be a good gift as well as a cute collection.
